We've all heard the expression, "Speak of the Devil," but let's pay attention to what Jesus said of him. Let's look at what God's word says we are to do to resist our Enemy, whose native language is lies. Lies about God, lies about other people and lies about ourselves. These lies can sometimes bounce around the echo chamber of our minds for years. We need to replace them with Truth. As Jesus-followers, the Devil only has as much power over us as we give him. Jesus promised if we submit to God, resist the Devil, he must flee.
