Tom reminds us about the push and pull of life. He shows us how in Biblical times it was a big push to attend the Jewish Festivals in Jerusalem in hot and unpleasant conditions. And yet, there was a pull too, a blessing. Simon of Cyrene who was forced to carry Jesus' cross, had just arrived in Jerusalem after 23 days travel. What a blessing despite the push he received!
